Every mom deserves to be celebrated and Fernie is the ideal setting for honouring the special moms in your life. No matter the type of festivity you’re looking for, you’re sure to find something to suit your (and of course mom’s) tastes.

May 12 is Mother’s Day this year, so it’s time to the start planning.  

Brunch is an ever popular Mother’s Day activity and Max Restaurant at Park Place Lodge puts on a spectacular one to celebrate mom. The spread includes: scrambled eggs, eggs benedict with house-made hollandaise, applewood smoked bacon & Spolumbo’s breakfast sausages, buttermilk pancakes with maple flavoured syrup & berry sauces, savory hash browns, spring greens garden salad, vegetable platters, cauliflower & broccoli with cheese sauce, glazed roasted potatoes & seasonal vegetables, slow roasted prime rib, baked salmon with asian rice noodles & chili house dressing, roast turkey with house made cranberry sauce, fresh fruit, and dessert cakes.

Brunch prices are $30 for adults, $20 for seniors, $14 for youth (6-13), and children 5 and under are free. Coffee & tea are Included and flowers will be given to all of the mothers in attendance.

There are also plenty of other Mother’s Day options in Fernie. If you’re planning on heading out with a larger group, the Best Western Plus Fernie Mountain Lodge is happy to accommodate. Cirque Restaurant at Lizard Creek Lodge is offering complimentary access to the hot tub and pool (with reservations). There is also the option to upgrade your experience and visit the Ice Bar (featuring mimosas, sparkling juice for the kids & family photos). If mom loves to golf, take her out for a round and then head over to Cast Iron Grill at the Fernie Golf Course. Bridge Bistro will also be offering a Mother’s Day menu.
