Beautiful Fernie, BC is always abuzz with excitement, and the coming September is no exception to that rule. Over the course of the month, a handful of awesome events—each catering to a wide range of interests—will make their way through town. That means that guests of our cozy Fernie hotel will not have to look far for fun!

Here are three events we recommend checking out in Fernie this September

Viva Italia, Viva Fernie! | September 8

Fernie is home to a deeply rooted Italian community. At 6:00pm on September 8th, that community celebrates its rich heritage with a delicious, spaghetti dinner. This awesome, Italy-centric event will occur at the Fernie Family Centre, just a short drive from our hotel, and will also feature live entertainment courtesy of Rosanne Anselmo and Garth Rizzuto. Enjoy!

Fernie Chautauqua & Fall Fair | September 8-11

From September 8th to 11th, this staple of Fernie’s annual calendar makes its highly anticipated annual return. This four-day “cultural extravaganza,” which is hosted in collaboration by the Fernie Museum, The Fernie Arts Station, Fernie Chamber of Commerce, Fernie Heritage Library, and Wildsight, will occur at various locations around the city and feature everything from contests, to craft sales, to live music.
