As the snowflakes fall and enthusiastic skiers gather from across the country, the Stanford Resort welcomes another exciting ski season in Fernie, BC!

What a wonderful evening! On Thurs Dec 4th, the Fernie Stanford Resort hosted our annual Ski Season Kick-Off Party in our new restaurant - the Mountain Tandoor.  With every seat in the house taken, the restaurant was bustling with our friends from the local Fernie business and hospitality communities. Guests enjoyed authentic East Indian cuisine including tandoor chicken, lamb curry, butter chicken and fresh naan bread.  All those in attendance also celebrated with our wide selection of wines, Christmas spirits and traditional desserts.

The Stanford Resort Fernie Hotel sends many thanks to everyone including the tour operators, accommodators, real estate agents, Tourism Fernie members and our friends from the Fernie Brewing Company who all helped make this year’s event another huge success!

We look forward to seeing all of you out on the slopes and inside the Mountain Tandoor restaurant for delicious après ski meals.

PS: The official opening of the Fernie Ski Resort is December 13th (conditions permitting).  Book your Stanford Fernie Resort Ski Package today!
