Biking and beer can make for a remarkable weekend combo. If you’re looking for non-stop outdoor adventure that allows you to escape the weekly grind, you have to head to Fernie for the Peak to Park to Pint Mountain Bike Tour. Grab your bike and head up the hill for a jam-packed day of sporty escapades.

The peak part of the trip starts at the Fernie Alpine Resort. Begin your tour by biking through the spectacular mountain scenery. From there, participants ride down to the stunning Mt. Fernie Provincial Park for the park component of the journey. Once you’re done soaking in that serene setting it’s time to take a lively jaunt through town, ending with the pint portion of the tour—some refreshing East Kootenay beer samples.

Weekends are a time to wind down and this tour is perfectly planned to help you do just that. Occurring weekly on Fridays and Saturdays from 1:30 to 4:30, the tour runs all the way until September 6. Of course, not everyone can make it on the weekend. If you’d love to take part in this ride, but can’t make it on a Friday or Saturday, optional days are available upon request.

The cost for the expedition is $59.95 per person. The price includes the guiding, lift ticket, and the sample beverages at the end of the ride. A complimentary shuttle back up to the resort is also available.

If you’re planning on visiting the area for the Peak to Park to Pint Tour or any other outdoor adventure, you’ll need to find comfortable accommodation in Fernie. The Fernie Stanford Resort has everything you could hope for and more. We offer spacious rooms, condos and townhouses, complimentary breakfast, an aquatic centre with waterslide, friendly staff, an award winning restaurant and much more.
