Get Your Culture Fix With Cultural Saturdays At The Arts Station

Whether you’re an avid artist, someone who just dabbles, or a complete novice who wants to gain some skills and have some fun, Cultural Saturdays at The Arts Station are sure to get your creative juices flowing. Starting January 5 and running straight through to April, The Arts Station will be hosting weekly sessions centred around the Arts.

There will be daytime sessions for kids (ages 5 to 12) each week and evening classes for adults. The children’s classes run from 9 am to 4 pm each Saturday. Parents have the option of signing their kids up for the full day or for a half day, either from 9 am to 12 pm or from 12 pm to 4 pm. Prices are $28 for a half day and $58 for a full day. Prices and start times vary for the evening adult classes. Arts supplies are included in the price of the classes. Children attending full-day classes need to bring a packed lunch (nut free).  

As far as what to expect from the sessions, expect a wide range of arts encompassing all the arts—visual art, drama, music, and dance. Drawing, painting, drama, Latin dance, theatre games, pottery, knitting, crafting and so much more will be included over the course of the series. Some of the adult classes even include wine and cheese!

Sign up for everything or pick and choose your favourites. The choice is yours. Registration is through Eventbrite and is currently open for all of the classes.
