Why? Prepare to be amazed: Monster Energy Boarderstyle is a hybrid boarder-cross, slopestyle, obstacle course race where four snowboarders run the gauntlet simultaneously. There’s even a table-top jump at the finish line where it’s mandatory to perform a 360 spin or greater. The boarders will place in the order they cross the finish line—unless—the rider placing behind performs a superior trick! And with $50,000 in prize money up for grabs, you can expect to see some pretty cool tricks, so sit back, enjoy and watch the chaos before Monster Energy’s legendary after party kicks off.

Where? Glacier Event Gardens and the Griz Bar
Why? Go back in time, bust out your one piece 1980s ski suits, headbands and spandex and join the party! The DJs will be spinning all of your favourite retro runes in Glacier Event Gardens—but the party doesn’t stop there. Make your way to the Griz Bar afterwards for the Hot Tub Time Machine party!

Why? Founded more than three decades ago, when a bunch of crazy locals decided to dress up 'Hot Dog - The Movie' style and ski/party/soak up the spring sunshine at Fernie Alpine Resort, this event is now a firmly unofficial fixture on Fernie's spring event calendar. The event is now a legendary unsanctioned 'local' day that has no specific schedule or central event—just go along join in!
