Shop local and get your Christmas shopping done early at the Handmade Craft Fair in Fernie. This year’s fair promises to feature all kinds of gifts and food items made by local artisans, including cupcakes, hats, jewelry, blankets, bath products, and more. This event is being held at the Fernie Community Centre, next to the Memorial Arena. The Handmade Craft Fair is taking place on Saturday, December 18th from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.
Celebrate Christmas at The Arts Station with their Mistletoe Mania event. On December 17th from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm, The Arts Station will host a holiday-themed party. There will be drinks, food, a festive game of Santa swap, and a big game of trivia. Teams must be registered in advance and can include between four and six people. The wearing of ugly Christmas sweaters is strongly encouraged and a mask and proof of vaccination will be required.
Get in the holiday spirit at the Fernie Heritage Library with their Community Christmas Party, taking place on Saturday, December 18th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This party is free to attend and suitable for all ages. There promise to be games, stories, live Christmas carols, and much more.
