As of June 26, Summer has officially arrived at the Fernie Alpine Resort, and the Fernie Stanford Hotel couldn’t be happier! The Fernie Alpine Resort’s Summer activities will provide hours of entertainment for bikers, hikers, and anyone who just likes to get outdoors and celebrate the warm months ahead. Two things to keep an eye out for in the coming days are:
Thursday Night Race Series – Starts July 8th
Fernie Alpine Resort is proud to host the Thursday Night Mountain Bike Race Series. Come out and enjoy an evening of fun, gravity-fed mountain biking, and great post-race refreshments and prizes at Kelsey’s Restaurant! Only 5 bucks per race (includes post-race beverage at Kelsey’s!). Register by 6:30 pm on race day.
Lost Boys Lungbuster MTB Hill Climb – Saturday July 10th
The ultimate challenge for hard core climbers! This gruelling race starts at the base area and climbs to the top of the Timber Express Chairlift – 2100 vertical feet! Race starts at 9:30 am sharp from the resort base area.
