Mountain bikers and fans of the outdoors alike have had June 26th circled on their calendars for months now. The snow has melted, summer is here, and Fernie Alpine Resort is opening up for the warm season! For those of you who can’t wait one more day to hit the trails, the resort opens bright and early at 9:00 am, and will be in service all summer with an amazing lift-accessed bike park as well as a variety of hiking and site-seeing from both the Timber Express & Elk Quad Chair. Bike Camps for women and children from beginner to advanced levels will be available throughout the summer, along with Thursday night race series for the competitive types of all ages.
Non-Fernie residents wishing to hit the Fernie Alpine Resort trails this summer will find world-class accommodation at the Stanford Fernie Resort.
